SITE VISIT REPORT: MASONRY MILESTONES & ARCHITECTURAL CASTING
Project Name: Proposed Villa Location: Block G, Plot 420, Mohammed Bin Zayed City (MBZC), Fujairah Date of Visit: March 30, 2026 Time of Visit: 10:00 AM Report Prepared By: Engineer Adeel Arif (Site Engineer).
____________
I. Purpose of Visit:
To inspect the completion of the ground floor masonry, verify the arrival of materials for the upper levels, and supervise the casting of decorative architectural elements.
II. Observations & Progress Status:
The project at MBZC Villa G-420 has reached a high level of productivity this week:
- Ground Floor Completion: The ground floor block work and plaster work inside is now 90% completed. This nearly concludes the internal structural partitioning and initial finishing for the lower level.
- First Floor Transition: Following previous supply delays, we confirm that blocks have just arrived at the site. The masonry team is mobilizing immediately to commence the first floor blockwork.
- Architectural Decor: A major aesthetic milestone was achieved as the parapet front decor was successfully casted with concrete. This feature defines the villa’s main elevation. Simultaneously, the rest of the parapet block work is in progress to complete the roofline perimeter.
- Logistics: Material flow has normalized, and the distribution of the new block supply to the first-floor slab is underway via the onsite crane/hoist.
III. Directives & Next Steps:
- First Floor Layout: I have instructed the foreman to begin the first layer (marking) of the first floor blockwork today for my inspection tomorrow morning.
- Curing Protocol: The newly casted concrete for the parapet decor must be water-cured three times daily for the next 7 days to ensure structural integrity and prevent surface cracks.
- Inside Plaster Finalization: The remaining 10% of the ground floor plaster work must be closed out this week to allow for the start of MEP final fixings.
IV. Concluding Remarks:
Villa G-420 is showing excellent momentum. With the ground floor block work near completion and the parapet front decor casted, the villa’s silhouette is now fully visible. The arrival of the first floor blocks ensures that the structural phase will continue without further interruption in Fujairah. For previous report click here.
