SITE VISIT REPORT: BLOCKWORK ACCELERATION & LINTEL PROGRESS

I. Purpose of Visit

To verify the delivery of masonry materials, monitor the commencement of first-floor structural activities, and assess the progress of remaining ground-floor lintel works and resource allocation.

II. Observations & Concurrent Progress

The site team at Project F-154, MBZC has ramped up activity with the arrival of new materials:

  • First Floor Blockworks: Following the successful delivery of blocks to the site, the masonry work for the First Floor has officially started. The team is proceeding with the layout and initial courses.
  • Ground Floor Structure: Work is nearing completion on the Ground Floor masonry. Currently, 2 lintel beams remain to be cast. The carpentry team is actively installing the shuttering (formwork) for these final elements.

III. Resource & Material Updates

To ensure the schedule is met, the following logistical adjustments have been made:

  • Labour Deployment: The contractor has deployed additional labour to the site. This increase in workforce is specifically targeted to accelerate and finish the blockworks as soon as possible.
  • Waterproofing: The required waterproof material has reached the site. This is staged for immediate installation after the completion of the first layer of blockworks on the First Floor, ensuring proper damp protection.

IV. Concluding Remarks

Project F-154 is moving at a good pace with the simultaneous execution of First Floor masonry and the finalization of Ground Floor structural elements. The arrival of critical materials (blocks and waterproofing) combined with the increased workforce indicates a strong push to close out the masonry phase efficiently. For previous report click here.
