SITE VISIT REPORT: BOUNDARY WALL TIE BEAM & SHUTTERING PROGRESS

I. Purpose of Visit

To verify the completion of the sub-structure masonry and inspect the progress of the shuttering works for the boundary wall tie beams in preparation for reinforcement placement.

II. Observations & Concurrent Progress

Construction at Villa F-C2 is moving efficiently through the boundary wall structural phase, with the following milestones recorded:

Sub-structure Blockwork: The solid blockwork below the tie beam has been 100% completed. A formal inspection of the masonry was conducted, and all alignments, levels, and bondings were found to be correct and in compliance with project specifications.
Tie Beam Shuttering: The carpentry team is actively engaged in the formwork for the horizontal tie beams. Currently, shuttering is approximately 60% complete. The work is progressing rapidly to provide the necessary mold for the upcoming concrete pour.
Reinforcement Readiness: Materials and steel fixers are on standby. As soon as the shuttering is finalized and secured, the steel reinforcement for the tie beams will be placed immediately to maintain the project momentum.

III. Critical Milestones & Next Steps

To ensure a seamless transition to the casting phase, the following actions are prioritized:

Completion of Formwork: Finalize the remaining 40% of the shuttering, ensuring all supports are rigid and the internal width matches the beam design.
Steel Fixing: Immediate placement of tie beam reinforcement cages once formwork is cleared.
Pre-Concreting Inspection: A joint inspection for the shuttering and steel reinforcement must be scheduled before the concrete pour to ensure structural integrity and proper cover.

IV. Concluding Remarks

The boundary wall at Villa F-C2 is progressing at a satisfactory pace. The successful inspection of the sub-structure blockwork provides a solid foundation for the tie beams.
