SITE VISIT REPORT: PCC CASTING & SUBSTRUCTURE BLOCK PREPARATION
Project Name: Proposed Villa Location: Block G, Plot 425, Mohammed Bin Zayed City (MBZC), Fujairah Date of Visit: January 13, 2026 Time of Visit: 11:00 AM Report Prepared By: Engineer Adeel Arif (Site Engineer)
____________
I. Purpose of Visit:
To inspect the shuttering for the Plain Cement Concrete (PCC) layer and verify the leveling for the upcoming solid block work below the tie beam.
II. Observations & Progress Status:
The project at MBZC Villa G-425 is currently moving through the critical leveling stages of the substructure:
- PCC Preparation: The shuttering has been done for the 10 cm PCC (Plain Cement Concrete) layer. This layer is strategically placed below the solid blocks to provide a level and stable base.
- Ready for Casting: The PCC for below solid blocks is confirmed as ready to be poured. This serves as the foundation for the masonry work that will sit below tie beam level.
- Sequence of Work: Following the casting and curing of this 10 cm layer, the solid block work will be started immediately. This masonry will continue vertically until it reaches the required height for the tie beam bottom.
- Overall Status: The site is maintaining good progress, with all structural activities following the approved engineering sequence.
III. Directives & Next Steps:
- PCC Casting: I have given the approval to cast the 10 cm PCC today. Leveling must be precise to ensure the block work sits perfectly horizontal.
- Masonry Mobilization: The block-laying team is instructed to mobilize as soon as the PCC achieves initial set, ensuring the substructure solid blocks are completed within the week.
- Tie Beam Coordination: Ensure all levels are double-checked against the structural drawings before the blocks reach the tie beam threshold.
IV. Concluding Remarks:
Villa G-425, MBZC, is progressing systematically. By completing the shuttering and PCC for the block base, we are establishing the necessary structural integrity for the solid blocks below tie beam. The project remains on schedule, and the quality of work remains high as we rise toward the ground-level slab in Fujairah. For previous report click here.
