I. Purpose of Visit:
To facilitate and document the final foundation inspection conducted by the Fujairah Municipality (FM) to secure the official approval for concrete casting of the shop building’s footings.
II. Attendees:
- FM Engineer: Engineer Parvez (Fujairah Municipality)
- Consultant Engineer: Engineer Balaji (Vista Engineer Consultant)
- Contractor Engineer: Engineer Adeel Arif
III. Observations & Inspection Findings:
The FM Engineer arrived punctually at 11:00 AM and conducted a thorough verification of the foundation works:
- Steel Reinforcement Placement: A detailed inspection of the steel placement within the footings was carried out, verifying bar sizes, spacing, and correct chair support.
- Axis Verification: The location and alignment of all structural axes were checked against the approved civil drawings to ensure accurate setup.
- Dimensional Checks: The distances between adjacent footings and the precise dimensional checks of the reinforcement were verified.
- Overall Status: The FM Engineer found all structural components and dimensions to be compliant with the approved design specifications.
IV. Final Approval:
- Following the satisfactory review of all key elements (steel, axes, and footing distances), the Fujairah Municipality Engineer officially approved the site for concrete casting.
V. Concluding Remarks:
The successful final inspection marks a critical milestone for the Shops Building at MBZC Plot C2. The rigorous checks performed by Engineer Parvez confirm the quality and compliance of our foundation steel works. We can now proceed immediately with preparations for the concrete pour.
