SITE VISIT REPORT: BOUNDARY WALL FOOTING CONCRETE CASTING

Project Name: Proposed Villa Location: Block A, Plot 85, Ahfara, Fujairah Date of Casting: November 9, 2025 Time of Casting: 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM Report Prepared By: Engineer Adeel Arif (Contractor Engineer)

____________

I. Purpose of Visit:

To supervise and quality-check the concrete casting operations for the external Boundary Wall Footings and document compliance with specifications and testing procedures.

II. Observations & Concrete Quality Control (QC):

The concrete pouring for the Boundary Wall / Compound Wall Footing was successfully executed under supervision:

  • Consultant Supervision: The casting was conducted in the presence of Consultant Engineer Ashok from Design Corner Engineering, ensuring adherence to design requirements.
  • Concrete Supplier & Volume: Concrete was supplied by Oryxmix. A total volume of 14 cubic meters (m³) was ordered and delivered efficiently in two batches of 7 m³ each.
  • Pre-Pour Checks: Upon the arrival of both trucks, the delivery note, concrete temperature, and slump were carefully checked and confirmed to be within the specified acceptable range.
  • Cube Testing: Six concrete cubes were prepared on-site for laboratory compressive strength testing: three cubes designated for the 7-day strength test, and three for the final 28-day strength test.
  • Pouring & Compaction: The concrete was poured using a pump and compacted thoroughly using a vibrator. This process ensured that all air bubbles were removed, and the concrete settled densely into the formwork, guaranteeing a strong, void-free footing structure.

III. Internal Works Constraint (Unresolved):

  • Status Quo: The internal construction constraint remains. The inside villa electrical work is still stopped due to the persistence of unresolved payment issues with the respected Owner, impacting the overall project schedule.

IV. Concluding Remarks:

The casting of the Boundary Wall Footings at Block A, Plot 85, Ahfara, was a successful operation, executed under Consultant supervision with rigorous quality control measures. All concrete tests and pouring procedures were compliant. The focus now shifts back to resolving the internal financial dispute to restart the vital electrical works. For previous report click here.
