SITE VISIT REPORT: FINAL ELECTRICAL INSPECTION AND PLASTER CLEARANCE

I. Purpose of Visit:
To conduct the final joint inspection of all electrical rough-in works with the Owner and Consultant Engineer to secure approval before the commencement of internal wall plastering.
II. Attendees:
- Owner of the Villa
- Consultant Engineer
- Contractor Engineer: Engineer Adeel Arif
III. Observations & Progress Status (Internal):
The final pre-plaster electrical and plumbing checks were conducted collaboratively:
- Electrical Inspection: All Ground Floor and First Floor Electrical Works (including piping, conduits, shoe sockets, and required wiring boxes) were inspected and found to be installed at the required points as per the revised drawings.
- Socket Revisions: It was confirmed that the revised height and level of sockets at a few specific points were correctly implemented and approved on site.
- Consultant Clearance: The Consultant Engineer confirmed that the overall electrical installation was satisfactory and gave the direction to proceed with internal plastering after addressing a few final, minor remarks.
- Concealed Fixtures: The Owner directed the contractor to conceal all bath flush tanks and to conceal the piping for a couple of bath mixers. This modification requires immediate dedicated block work to box out and secure these elements before plaster application.
IV. External Works Update (Critical Path):
- Waterproofing: Outside Bitumen Works (waterproofing) are currently ongoing on the exterior walls ahead of the stone cladding installation.
- Stone Works Start: We estimate completing the entire external bitumen application within the next two working weeks, which will then allow the Owner to commence the Stone Works.
V. Concluding Remarks:
Villa A-85, Ahfara, is structurally ready for the plastering phase following the successful final electrical inspection. The site team is immediately working to address the minor Consultant remarks and implement the Owner’s directive for concealed flush tanks and mixers. Focus is also maintained on completing the Bitumen Works on the exterior to facilitate the Owner’s scheduled Stone Works start in Fujairah. For previous report please click here.
