I. Purpose of Visit:
To confirm the submission status of the Road Base compaction test and monitor the preparation of the main villa foundation steel.
II. Observations & Progress Status:
The site is currently in the crucial pre-foundation and external preparation stages:
- Road Base Compaction: The required sample for the Road Base Density Test has been officially submitted to the Fujairah Municipality (FM) for compaction certification. Approval of this test is necessary for proceeding with permanent access infrastructure.
- Foundation Works: In parallel, the site team is actively engaged in preparing the steel reinforcement for the main villa foundation elements. This involves cutting, bending, and assembling the rebar cages according to the structural drawings. Grid lines have also been marked at site, yet it is a work in progress.
III. Directives & Next Steps:
- Test Follow-up: The material controller must follow up closely with the FM laboratory to expedite the results of the Road Base Density Test.
- Foundation Readiness: Continue preparation of the foundation steel. All rebar cages must be fully assembled and ready for placement within the trenches to ensure an immediate inspection call can be made upon receiving the Road Base approval.
IV. Concluding Remarks:
The project at Ghizmri Farfar, Plot A-420, is strategically advancing two parallel tasks: securing external infrastructure approval via the Road Base Density Test and preparing the core structural foundation steel.
