SITE VISIT REPORT: ROAD BASE PROGRESS & PCC PREPARATION
Project Name:Proposed Villa Location: A/420 Ghizmri Farfar, Fujairah Date of Visit: November 24, 2025 Time of Visit: 10:00 AM Report Prepared By:Engineer Adeel Arif (Site Engineer)
____________
I. Purpose of Visit
To inspect the quality and progress of the road infrastructure earthworks, verify the accuracy of structural setting out, and coordinate the upcoming quality control testing required before concrete works can commence.
II. Observations & Concurrent Progress
The site team at Project A-420 is currently executing critical groundwork phases simultaneously:
- Infrastructure Works: The Road Base Work is actively ongoing. Heavy machinery is engaged in spreading and grading the aggregate material to achieve the required design levels and profile.
- Structural Setting Out: Surveyors are currently on-site performing markings of the column axis. This precision work is essential to ensure the correct alignment of the structural grid prior to foundation activities.
III. Critical Next Steps: Testing & PCC
To transition from earthworks to structural concrete, the following sequence is scheduled:
- Quality Control (Immediate): Upon completion of the current grading, the team will immediately submit a request for the Road Base Compaction Test (Field Density Test). Passing this test is a mandatory hold point.
- Construction Phase (Upcoming): Once the compaction test results are approved and verify adequate soil density, the site will mobilize for the start of PCC (Plain Cement Concrete) works.
IV. Concluding Remarks
Project A-420 is proceeding on schedule with visible progress in both infrastructure and structural preparation. The focus is now strictly on achieving the required compaction standards for the road base. Successful testing will greenlight the PCC pouring, marking the beginning of the major concrete works. For previous report click here.
